Legendary record producer John Simon (The Band, Janis Joplin, Leonard Cohen, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Gordon Lightfoot, Michael Franks, Mama Cass, Taj Mahal, David Sanborn, Gil Evans, Simon & Garfunkel, Steve Forbert, Bobby Charles and others) had his beloved Mason & Hamlin grand piano for six decades before he left Woodstock four years ago, and the exceptional piano found a new home in the Lounge of the Bearsville Theater. The Mason & Hamlin BB is an exceptional instrument regarded by many pros as their piano-of-choice.
Now, on August 28, exceptional piano and exceptional piano-player will be reunited for a
special concert of standards and originals, accompanied by Rich Syracuse (bass) and Jeff Siegel (drums) with 20 years of experience as a jazz trio.
