Tipify will bring its intimate B-Side Sessions series to the iconic Bearsville Theater on Sunday, August 23, continuing its mission to create intimate live music experiences where artists and audiences connect beyond the stage.
Following successful editions in Austin during SXSW and Nashville, B-Side Sessions arrives in Woodstock with a lineup spanning acclaimed songwriters and rising independent voices, including Welsh Wolf, Amber Rubarth, Dave Doobinin, Keenan O’Meara, Gracie Coates, Rose Stoller, Johnny Irion, and Kait Hickey.
At B-Side Sessions, your tip is your ticket. Rather than purchasing a traditional ticket, attendees support the artists directly by scanning a QR code and tipping the performers who move them. It’s a simple model that reinforces the direct connection between artists and fans while ensuring support goes where it matters most.
“Music has always been about human connection,” said Dan Carucci, founder and CEO of Tipify. “In an industry that’s become increasingly focused on metrics and algorithms, B-Side Sessions creates space for something much more meaningful. B-Side is a celebration of the power fans have to support independent artists through direct connection. When artists and audiences come together in the same room, everyone becomes part of the story.”
Few venues embody that spirit more naturally than Bearsville Theater. Long regarded as one of Woodstock’s most celebrated listening rooms, the venue has welcomed generations of artists while maintaining an atmosphere where performance, songwriting, and community remain at the forefront.
More than a concert series, B-Side Sessions reflects Tipify’s broader mission to help independent artists build sustainable careers through meaningful fan relationships. By bringing together artists at different stages of their careers in intimate settings, each event encourages discovery, collaboration, and the kind of personal connection that extends well beyond a single performance.
