Join The Bearsville Team

Bearsville is a long-established music industry icon and entertainment center in Woodstock, New York. At the 16-acre creekside site you will find:

The Bearsville Theater – A 400 seat theater with lounge suitable for music, comedy and other entertainment

The Albert Grossman Memorial Park – a 1,000 capacity park with outdoor stage with many catering opportunities for weddings, corporate and private parties.

Two restaurants:
The Bear (high-end American) is owned by Bearsville
The Mexican-themed tenant-owned ‘Bear Cantina’

A saloon bar – tenant-owned Tinker Street Tavern

A creamery – tenant-owned Nancy’s Artistanal

After some years of neglect, in 2019 the new owner extensively renovated the property.

2022 brings a new public beginning for Bearsville, which is growing rapidly and expects to double staff size in the next year.

There are opportunities for anyone joining the team at Bearsville to work at The Bear, The Theater, and The Albert Grossman Memorial Park, although you will start at one and be dedicated to that entity for the first period of your employment.

The mission of the Theater is:

To nurture and inspire future generations with ground-breaking and exciting new music, honor the legacy of Albert Grossman as well as the contributions of his and other Woodstock artists, and to provide artists with writing, rehearsal, performance and recording facilities of every kind.

The mission of The Bear is:

Creative Foods of the Hudson Valley happily shared with Hudson Valley People.
