We do ask for a small cover charge. Too often, local musicians are paid poorly (or not at all and expected to work for tips). We are leading the fight to pay for musicians a decent amount for their contribution. Respect our Musicians and Keep Music Alive!!

More than just a world class drummer, Jerry Marotta‘s talents include producing, composing, vocals and various instruments including bass guitar and sax.
Jerry divides his time performing and recording with The Marotta Brothers Band, Security Project, The Fragile Fate, Annie & the Hedonists, Reelin’ in the Years, and Flav Martin.
Jerry Marotta has recorded and toured with Peter Gabriel, The Indigo Girls, Hall and Oates, Tears For Fears, Elvis Costello, Paul McCartney, 10,000 Maniacs, Suzanne Vega and Los Lonely Boys to name only a few. Through his extensive touring experience and performances on hundreds of albums Jerry has worked with many of the greatest producers in the world.

We at Bearsville Theater are concerned about safety and have been closely watching the spread of the Delta variant of Covid. We strongly urge everyone to become vaccinated if they have not already done so. And once again, we must ask guests to wear their masks at all times when inside the theater and not seated, eating or drinking. We relay live music outside into our Parkland area, where there is ample seating, should you prefer to listen to the music maskless.
We will continue with our current indoor testing policy, which now applies to EVERY event. We ask for proof of full vaccination and ID prior to entry.
Pianist Tom Kohl has performed and recorded with many great jazz artists in the New York area since the 1980’s. His recorded work includes five albums as a leader – most recently his 2018 release ‘Scarlet’. Tom’s recordings and performances often showcase his love of the jazz trio.
