LIVE MUSIC FROM:

ANDREA ASPRELLI & JASON BORISOFF 1:00-1:40pm & 1:50-2:15pm

Andrea Asprelli is based out of Brooklyn and writes, sings and plays fiddle and banjo. Formerly of the band Cricket Tell the Weather, she has released two albums of original music as well as the Masters Radio Volume 1, a compilation of live recordings from the Masters Radio concert series. She plays freelance with the Brooklyn Bluegrass Collective, Karen and the Sorrows and others. She performs as a duo under her name with guitarist and collaborator, singer and songwriter Jason Borisoff.

THE BLUEGRASS CLUBHOUSE 2:30-3:10pm & 3:20-3:45pm

Longtime fixtures on the Woodstock acoustic music scene, features Fran Hollanderon vocals, Brian Hollander on vocals, guitar and Dobro, (yes, they are Abby’s parents); singer/songwriter Tim Kapeluck on vocals, mandolin and guitar, and whose album Time and Gravity can be heard on Spotify and is available for the asking; and Geoff Harden on vocals and bass.

For 14 years, the Bluegrass Clubhouse took place weekly at Woodstock venues, including the Bearsville Theater. They have also performed as the Saturday Night Bluegrass Band, and their deep range of material includes Bluegrass, Americana, jazz, sweet country tearjerkers, original and cover songs, and their harmony is smooth as silk.

THE ABBY HOLLANDER BAND 4:00-4:45pm &  5:00-5:30pm

Abby Hollander is a singer, multi-instrumentalist and award winning songwriter originally from Woodstock. In 2013 she formed her band in Brooklyn to perform her songs in a traditional bluegrass setting.

Abby also plays bass in the band, along with Brooklyn Bluegrass Collective co-founder, guitarist Jason Borisoff; Ellery Marshall provides the banjo sound that is one of the group’s trademark features; and Jacob Tilove, also known for his work with The Lonesome Trio plays mandolin and sings.

All the musicians play an active role in helping Abby arrange her songs, making the band a dynamic, collaborative experience rooted equally in the time-honored sounds of bluegrass, with a modern, 21st century sound. The band has been featured at numerous bluegrass festivals, including as emerging artists at the 2015 Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival.

Their latest album, Letters, is available at bandcamp.com and can be heard on Spotify.
